With over 25 years of work experience, I now am following my passion for a lifetime of learning by completing my PhD in Social Science at the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. A seasoned researcher, writer, producer, educator, and governance expert, I am driven by a keen interest in athletics as entertainment, particularly college sports, and the policy implications thereof. My broader interests explore the historical, social, and cultural implications of sports including NIL, labor, law, policy, media, commercialism, amateurism, and the prevalence and impact of predominant football cultures, particularly in the American South.
