ABOUT MELISSA H.
I started my working life as a Production Electronics Technician Apprentice at Tritech in 2014, Qualifying with a Distinction* in my Electrical & Electronic Engineering HNC. I have progressed through Tritech where I have worked as a Customer Support Technician, this involved fault finding, and repairing faulty products returned from the field. In the early years of my career I worked my way up to Engineering as a Production Engineer, helping to bring new designs/prototypes to market and get them ready for production. I also assisted production with any errors or faults they had, and improved product designs. In 2022 I completed my Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering BEng(Hons), and I am continuing to develop my engineering skills and knowledge further.In Jan 2023 I took a career change at BAE to develop my career and grow my experience and knowledge within Electrical Configuration Management, here I gained vital skills such as managing and implementing control baselines & ECR’s. June 2023 I had an incredible opportunity to return to Subsea Manufacturing, and joined SLB as a Manufacturing Engineer for Electrical Feedthrough Systems. Here I support the cross over between Engineering & Production and use both continuous improvement and lean six sigma models to improve production processes.
