When I see my young daughter walking down a sidewalk saying, “Hi, how are you doing?” to anyone we see, I am reminded of the phrase “like mother, like daughter.” Friendly and enthusiastic run in our DNA. I cannot think of a time when striking up a conversation didn’t make me happy.Being personal, authentic, and thoughtful, empowers me to create and maintain lasting relationships. I use my curiosity to ask a lot of questions and then listen to better understand the expectations, needs, and interests of the individuals that I support. This foundation allows me to build trust and form a strong partnership. I recognize the pressures of work and family that my partners and managing director encounter. Therefore, I show up to help; I am determined to ensure we succeed as a team by being organized, hardworking and reliable.One passion of mine is training and facilitating. Being in a new role can be intimidating, I want my colleagues to feel confident, independent and empowered to make decision and understand their role. That is why, I bring my humor and collaborative approach to form an environment that is positive, engaging, yet informative. Being a resource allows me to help solve problems and use my knowledge to provide guidance as needed.Although my career vision did not lead me to managing a big resort hotel and casino on the Las Vegas strip, the hospitality industry did make a significant impact on who I am today. My passion in customer experience blossomed and it made it abundantly clear how much I care about people.
