   Here at the STEM Coding lab we are helping businesses that are growing now for the future to prepare youth for the 21st century economy with skills and well-educated youth. Students need to be ready to enter the tech driven, global economy workforce. Academic and cognitive development- Our STEM coding lab curriculum are introduced to youth in elementary and middle school. Our curriculum fosters problem solving, creativity, and computational thinking skills that transfer to other academic disciplines. Early exposure helps to demystify technology, encouraging broader participation in STEM fields later in life. Learning to code and understand technology is not just about creating software, it\'s about developing a systemic approach to thinking, breaking down complex problems and creating logical solutions. Economic opportunities- STEM coding lab’s Computer science curriculum aligns to some future related jobs that are the fastest growing and highest paying career paths in the US. Students who are exposed and develop these skills are better positioned to succeed in these fields, creating pathways out of poverty for underserved populations. Social and Cultural Impact- Stem Coding Lab’s Curriculum as introduced to our underserved communities helps to close the racial and socioeconomic gaps in STEM representation. It empowers underrepresented groups to participate in shaping the digital future, fostering diversity in innovation and decision making. STEM Coding lab wants to be part of the solution to teacher knowledge, lack of school resources, and capacity by stepping in as a partner to assist K-8 youth with the access to CS curriculum. We want to help schools teach computer science by investing in our organization that solely focuses on CS curriculum and pushes into the daytime space and OST space.
