High degree of technical aptitude to determine appropriate vehicles or equipment that would maximize efficiency and profitability to the company.\\\\n\\\\n• Document and maintain budgets, fleet costs, unit mileage and PM programs\\\\n• Utilize fleet software for equipment history and cost tracking\\\\n• Provide a safe and well-maintained fleet in a cost-effective manner\\\\n• Purchase and maintain company-owned support equipment for the Fleet Department\\\\n• Supervise and coordinate the activities of equipment and materials transportation personnel\\\\n• Oversee the purchase of all licenses, permits, decals, racks & bins, and lifts\\\\n• Develop and administer a fleet replacement policy\\\\n• Complete vehicle inspections and document results\\\\n• Assist Supervisors/Managers and Operations as necessary\\\\n• Working with the key suppliers’ service providers to maintain a professional relationship that facilitates cost and service in the best interest of the company\\\\n• Identify cost savings, cost avoidance and improvement opportunities.\\\\n• Recommend supplier changes as necessary.\\\\n• Handling the acquisition and disposal for company cars, coordinating the vehicle inspection, licensing, titles, insurance, safety, accident review, monitoring maintenance schedules, accurate inventory of vehicles, and other activities that support the operations of the equipment.\\\\n• Developing and maintain performance reporting.\\\\n• Other duties as may be required.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
