About Melissa Clark
Melissa is a real estate transactional attorney whose practice focuses on a broad range of complex transactions. Melissa’s experience allows her to represent owners, investors, developers and lenders in a wide variety of commercial real estate matters relating to the acquisition, disposition and financing of offices, residential developments and other commercial, industrial and mixed-use real estate properties. She has extensive experience drafting and negotiating real property and financing transaction documents, including purchase agreements (both asset and equity) for new and existing developments. Melissa’s financing experience is in a unique area known as “landbanking,” which is a form of financing for homebuilders, where she represents both homebuilders and landbankers on all parts of the transaction including the drafting and negotiation of option agreements and construction agreements.She also has experience representing buyers and sellers in high end residential transactions.
