ABOUT MELISSA BLAIS
As a Civil Engineering Technologist graduate, I am very pleased to say that I have obtained my 3yr diploma by graduating with honors as Valedictorian in the graduating class of 2014. Other accomplishments and achievements that I have obtained are having had the opportunity of being student advisor in my final year of college, as well as also having the honors of representing female students in Trades and Technology by delivering a well-respected speech at the 2013 Symposium.I am an active Certified Engineering Technologist designated through OACETT and I currently hold the position of Chapter Chair with our Timmins Regional Chapter. In previous years, I have held the positions of College Liaison, and W.I.T. Representative. I have recently held the position of a Civil Technologist with J.L. Richards and Associates for the past 14 months and as a Project Coordinator for 13 months before that. I have a total of four years experience in Project Management/Coordination, over four years experience as a Materials Testing Field and Laboratory Technician and two years of seasonal experience as a Junior Party Chief Surveyor.
