As the Director of US-International Engagement within the World Resources Institute’s climate program, Melissa leads high-level climate and energy dialogues between governmental, academic, NGO and philanthropy-based U.S. participants and counterparts in China, India, and the European Union. The objective of these dialogues is to strengthen the avenues of communication through informal discussions on critical issues to facilitate climate action and the energy transition. Melissa co-leads WRI\'s global energy program\'s efforts to ensure a secure and responsibly sourced minerals supply chain. Within the U.S, Melissa focuses on ways to encourage and drive ambitious international-facing climate action on topics ranging from clean hydrogen to power sector decarbonization and climate finance; she focuses on opportunities to overcome domestic and international barriers to a rapid transition to a clean energy economy.
