Responsible for revenue cycle management and the overall accounts receivable and for Saint Luke’s Physician Group, IDTFs, Rehab, Convenient Cares and other services billed on a 1500. Directs and manages the revenue cycle activities which includes policies and procedures development and implementation for approximately 1600 providers in most specialties. Revenue cycle activities include patient access, payor enrollment, charge processing, coding, coding compliance, revenue integrity, billing, collections, denials, customer service (inbound & outbound) EDI, claims and edits management, payment posting, refunds, credit balances, and AR follow up. Analyzes and monitors data from revenue cycle systems to continuous improvement in results. Leads implementation projects for new clinics and service lines. Recommends and leads implementation of new IT enhancements and fixes. Develops and manages budget. Collaborates with governmental and manage care payors to resolve issues. Collaborates with Corporate Compliance to ensure all billing regulations are followed. Works closely with operations team to develop processes that enhance customer service, improve collections, and ensure accurate billing.
