ABOUT MELINE JOARIS

I am a Veterinarian with 13 years of experience in small animal practice, both private and corporate, in California and the UK. I have also worked in shelter settings and volunteered at high volume spay and neuter events. I have worked mostly as a general practitioner with a keen interest in coaching and mentoring other veterinarians and care team members. I believe that growing people is key to retain talent and improving efficiency in the field while maintaining the highest standard of care for our animal patients. I can work independently, even in emergency situations. I am also a great team member as I understand the need for cooperation and communication, and am able to delegate tasksI hold a California veterinary license. I am a member of the CVMA, AVMA, California Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps and MRCVS. I was awarded a BVSc and BSc from the University of Pretoria and the ECFVG from the AVMA. I am licensed to work as a veterinarian in California, after successfully completing the ECFVG and NAVLE in 2018.
