ABOUT MELINDA ZACHER RONAYNE
Since 2010, I have been leading and guiding the visual art programs at Interlochen Center for the Arts, a premier pre-professional boarding school and summer camp for the arts. As the Director of Visual Arts, I oversee the curriculum, faculty, facilities, and exhibitions of various disciplines, such as painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and digital media. My vision is to foster creativity and develop the whole student as a responsible citizen artist, who can contribute to the world with their unique talents and perspectives. I am skilled in building effective, joyful, and inclusive teams that collaborate and innovate across the organization. I am also a clear communicator who can work with diverse stakeholders, such as faculty, staff, students, families, and donors. Additionally, I hold an Ed.D. in Leadership and Learning in Organizations from Vanderbilt University.
