About Melinda Somers
I currently serve as the Lab Manager for Dr. Abigail Marsh’s Lab on Social & Affective Neuroscience at Georgetown University, where I oversee and coordinate several research projects investigating individual differences in prosocial and antisocial decision-making. My work integrates fMRI, qualitative interviews, and behavioral methods to better understand the mechanisms underlying social behavior. For the next step of my career, I will be pursuing my Ph.D. in Psychology at Columbia University, working with Dr. Kevin Ochsner in his Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience Lab.
