Gosnold\'s mission is to excel in addiction and mental health treatment, to serve individuals and families affected by these illnesses, and to promote lasting recovery. I currently work as a Patient Access Supervisor in the Detox Unit.I\'m a Departmental Liaison coordinating census demands; by using quick decision making skills to fill beds in a fast paced environment and efficiently adapt to staffing challenges. I utilize my strong communication skills with Charge Nurses, Resident Assistants, Unit Coordinator, and my Admissions team to formulate a cohesive plan to fill beds when there are early or unexpected discharges, patient \"no shows\", treatment completes, or extended treatment plans. I oversee the daily operations of the detox unit and contribute reports and shift summaries utilized in shift changes. I\'m responsible for sending out the current census and patient intakes/planned transfers or discharges to the entire unit and higher level Directors within the company. I am the Super User in my department for insurance verification and am in charge of training staff on using insurance sites (private, medicare, MassHealth, and Nehan) to create benefit assignments, payment agreements, financial waivers and contracts. I\'m detail oriented and use my strong investigative skills for Quality Assurance in the accuracy of insurance benefit assignments, financial contracts, consents and waivers, and lastly the demographics and assessments on the Patient Intakes. When there are inaccuracies I train the staff appropriately.
