I’m currently leading the Data Governance organization at Sigma Computing—the only cloud analytics platform that brings the power of cloud-scale data exploration to a familiar spreadsheet-like interface. My team builds the secure, compliant, and scalable foundation that allows large enterprises to confidently adopt Sigma.Our charter spans four critical areas:• Authentication: Modern login and identity flows powered by Basic Auth, SAML, OAuth, and 2FA.• Connection: Integrations with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and more, supporting advanced auth patterns like Key Pair Auth and Snowflake Internal OAuth.• Permissions: A flexible permissions model covering data, asset, feature, and granular row/column-level controls.• Compliance: Enterprise capabilities for data deletion, encryption, audit logging, and billing events.Over the past 20+ years, I\'ve worked as an engineer, architect, and people leader across Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, Kubernetes, and Docker. I stay hands-on because it keeps me close to the systems we’re building and the people building them.My leadership philosophy blends situational and servant leadership. I believe the best outcomes come from empowering people, recognizing strengths, and enabling teams to operate with clarity, autonomy, and trust.Before Sigma, I led teams at Stitch Fix (Payments, Fraud & Identity), Zillow (SEO & Closing Services), and LinkedIn (Trust, Verification, Settings, Equity), with additional experience in Taxes & Payroll, Ads, and Oil & Gas.
