In 2007 Universal Yachting was formed and has become specialist in Solent based yacht charters, outdoor sailing activities & RYA sailing tuition, together with the exciting addition of Dufour New Yacht Sales to our portfolio in 2015.We are passionate about providing all our yachts for both charter and training with a very high standard of maintenance and cleanliness, together with using only the best professionally trained yacht skippers.With our detailed and technical understanding of boats, first hand experience running owner care programmes and a history of working in the charter industry, we provide a professional and personal service to all boat owners, charterers and course candidates.

As UK dealers for Dufour Yachts we are able to offer a full range of services whether you are looking to learn how to sail, charter or buy a yacht from one of the worlds leading yacht manufacturers. Our thirst for sailing has driven us down a path to find ways to make sailing accessible and fun for all, regardless of experience levels. Co-ordinating skippered day sails & RYA private sailing courses has opened the doors of sailing to active people and given them a taste of this fun and growing sport.The sheltered waters of the Solent are one of the best sailing locations in the world to experience sailing at its best, learn to sail from scratch or improve sailing skills.Delighted to be the new custodians of “Collective Spirit” we aim to get her back out on the water and continue her legacy. Collective Spirit is not just beautiful to look at but fascinating and functional as well. In total the boat contains over 1,200 donations. Each piece tells a story is a living archive of people’s stories and lives. Together they create Collective Spirit AKA “The Boat Project”. Whilst much admired as a piece of art the intention was also to create a wonderful, long lasting legacy providing opportunities for people to experience her on the water.
