One of the most challenging experiences I\'ve been through is running the 800-meter dash for the track team. It was my first time running the event and I didn\'t know what to expect, but I quickly realized there were stages to pushing through it. At first, I thought about giving up after the first lap, then I considered convincing my coach to never put me in that race again or I could dig deep and fight for at least a top 3 finish. I am very competitive, but that day I wasn’t myself until I saw my team cheering me on. That moment reminded me that giving up is never an option. To this day, I carry that same mindset into my personal and professional life, striving for the highest accomplishments and never backing down from challenges.Now, as a recruiter with NCW, I apply those same lessons every day. Just like in track, teamwork and perseverance are at the core of what I do. I make sure my colleagues and candidates receive the best collaboration and support from me. I bring with me strong skills in change management, emotional intelligence, onboarding, succession planning, accountability, affirmative action, briefing, and performance management. As a proud Latina professional, I embrace challenges head on and ensure that the team I’m part of is always pushing toward success. Together, we’re not just competing, we’re aiming to be in first place in every race we take on.
