Automatik VFX is an international VFX production company, sister to post-production company Post Republic. I am the lead producer in the company’s Berlin office, where I supervise teams of 30 artists and technical support teams to deliver VFX sequences for independent features and arthouse films. As a company leader, my role encompasses business development strategy - I collaborate closely with the local managing director and company heads in London to forecast personnel needs for upcoming projects and generate financial projections.I oversee 3-4 productions at a time, managing all client communication with directors, producers, post supervisors, and DPs to establish a creative vision that will enhance the storytelling, plan complex VFX shots, create budgets and schedules, and hire artists to execute projects according to client goals. I’ve delivered 20-400 VFX shots per project in a range of styles, including period VFX, 2D/3D environments and set extensions, creature work, invisible VFX, and beauty retouching.
