ABOUT MELANIE SIBSON

I am a highly regarded Senior MSL with 13 years experience within the MSL role and 20 years experience in Oncology covering multiple tumour sites with MSL Team Leader experience. Most recent role has included EU lead for MSL training through the development of the Clovis Oncology MSL Academy as well as UK Medical Advisor responsibilities.I have a strong track record for delivering innovative solutions to unmet needs within the oncology community including the development of medical educational resources and training.I have experience working in the pre license and post license medical affairs environment and has fostered excellent cross functional relationship.I have contributed to the strategic direction of the medical affairs plans at both country and EU level through role as senior Field-based Medical Affairs and also EU lead for MSL insights. I am an active committee member and secretary for the Medical Science Liaison Association (MSLA) supporting MSLs across the industry in the UK & Ireland. Key skills include: leadership, communication skills, project management and delivery of projects, problem solving and solution focused, strong team player, collaborator, trainer and mentor.Key achievements- Defined and developed the MSL Academy for the Clovis EU MSLs to learn together and share best practice- Collaborated externally and internally to develop and deliver on two investigator initiated trials and one real world data generation - Established the Clovis medical education platform to support the oncology community
