ABOUT MELANIE SELLERS
I am Certified Mental Health Therapist. I currently coordinate a county-wide clinical crisis program, developing political connections, maintaining public relations, and coordinating with county officials, court officials, hospitals and medical clinics, law enforcement, DHS, and school officials. I work with these stakeholders in order to assure appropriate treatment to individuals in need, provide community education through public speaking and in-service training, provide in-depth clinical assessments, consultations, and referrals. I serve as a court liaison in mental health matters as well as in the community. I host a multidisciplinary meeting, serve on the DHS Regional Implementation Team, and as a member of MAP Team. I provide training to Law Enforcement Training Academies in courses pertaining to mental health and crisis situations.
