A resilient, self-starter, enthusiastic generalist Human Resources practitioner. With a specialism in Recruitment and Selection. Educated up to BA Degree Level in Business, Management and Administration and holds an Associate level Membership with the Chartered Institute of Personal Development. Let me take a moment to introduce myself, I am the \"Melanie\" behind the online pre employment support business called Help My CV Melanie. Specialising in creating and improving the tools needed to secure suitable employment whilst offering career guidance and advice. I can not express in words exactly how much joy it brings me and a true sense of purpose when I hear back from previous clients about securing their chosen role. Did you know? Its reported online that in an average lifetime, we spend 3,515 full days at work? Wow! Whilst I am a firm believer that a Job is not the \"be-all and end all\" to life. Let’s be honest, it can make life easier! from being financially flexible to visiting new and exciting towns and countries. Hence why I do advocate striving to be in a role that provides you with motivation and drive to perform consistently. In an environment that is supportive and encouraging. I cater for those who are * entering the world of employment * looking for their 7th, 8th, 9th or even 10th role. it really doesn\'t matter * And of course. those who are desperately trying to prove their worth to secure a promotion or those wishing to enter a new industry. Throughout my career to date, I have built up a catalogue of key skills, knowledge and expertise from the perspective of a willing and competent candidate and as a Hiring Manager. I understand more than most the need to be resilient in order to continue in securing roles within your chosen field of expertise. I have experienced 3 redundancies and many empty promises for temporary employment to turn into permanent work. However, I have also undertaken temporary contracts to enable me to be able to gain experience within specific, hard to enter industries. Taking on a strategic approach to building on my existing knowledge and skills whilst holding on tightly to an industry that provides me with multiple opportunities to make a difference, improve individuals work life balance and bring an element of financial security.
