    Presently working in the Computational Biophysics Research Group, under Dr. Jeff Wereszczynski, using Molecular Dynamic (MD) simulation software to study the structural and dynamical properties of various abnormal nucleosomes at an all-atom molecular level.Current Projects- Comparatively studying virus-encoded nucleosomes to canonical eukaryotic nucleosomes in order to better understand DNA compaction and dynamics in large DNA viruses- Investigating open-conformations of chromatin stacking in telomere nucleosomes and archaeosomesDevelopmental Skills-Bi-monthly scientific presentations of research as well as weekly personal development lab meetings that encourage collaboration and development of soft skills-Contribute to computational proposal for large-scale allocations-Lab mentorship
