ABOUT MELANIE MACKINNON
I have a passion for clinical practice and teaching. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, athletic or not, helping each one to move better, with less pain and get back to enjoying the activities that they choose to do. Driven to build a team of like-minded, highly skilled and compassionate practitioners, I founded Strive Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine. I am dedicated to supporting the ongoing personal and professional development of the Strive team, through mentoring and hosting activities such as mindfulness workshops. I am deeply invested in teaching and mentoring Physiotherapists, at the University and post graduate level. Curious to explore ways to better prepare clinicians for the realities of clinical practice, I am pursuing my PhD in Health Professional Education Research.
