Responsible for the strategic planning, growth, and quality of trauma services at Memorial Hermann Health System. Working closely with our Level I Trauma Center and our Academic (University of Texas) Medical Director to establish and monitor quality goals. Creating multidisciplinary system trauma guidelines. Leading the system registry with 32 FTE\'s and over cases entered per year. Maintained continued growth in system trauma volumes despite rapid growth of trauma centers in the Houston area. FY21 YTD CMI increased by 4%, while simultaneously decreasing LOS by 1% Year over year increase in contribution margin to the System; FY21 YTD total contribution margin is at $194M, 29% higher than FY20 YTD Partnered with key physicians to develop system wide guidelines for care of trauma patients. Collaborated with the University of Texas John McGovern Medical School to recruit 5 trauma surgeons for our next Level II Trauma Center. Successfully designated and re-designated all 11 Trauma Centers in the system.
