ABOUT MELANIE FEEK
With 25 years of experience in formal and informal education, training, and leadership, I have built my career on promoting collaboration and facilitating partnerships that create meaningful opportunities for both individuals and organisations. As the founder and Managing Director of Elevate, an Ofqual-recognised End-Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO), I am committed to delivering high-quality assessments that support the success of apprentices and the sectors they serve. My diverse career has included roles in secondary, further, and higher education, youth custody, and community development. In higher education, I served as a Senior Academic Professional for nearly 15 years, specialising in curriculum and assessment design and delivering innovative online and blended learning programmes. These experiences, along with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, have shaped my leadership at Elevate, ensuring a focus on quality, accessibility, and collaboration. In previous roles, I also gained valuable experience as a Lead End-Point Assessor. This involved overseeing the delivery and quality assurance of assessments, ensuring they met the needs of employers, training providers, and apprentices while upholding the integrity of regulated qualifications. This expertise has further informed my commitment to delivering robust and meaningful assessments at Elevate. As a JNC-qualified Youth and Community Senior Manager, I worked in partnership with schools and colleges to design and deliver programmes for young people at risk of exclusion. By adopting a youth work approach, we re-engaged learners with education and personal development, working alongside educators, families, and local services to create holistic frameworks that addressed challenges and built pathways to long-term success. At Elevate, I continue to prioritise partnership and collaboration, working closely with employers, training providers, assessors, and sector experts to deliver assessments that meet the highest standards while also reflecting the unique needs of industries and apprentices.
