Melanie joined Rubber Division, ACS in June 2006 and currently serves as the dedicated Conference Director, bringing over 20 years of experience in non-profit meeting planning. Her deep commitment, professionalism, and detail-oriented nature have made her an invaluable asset to the Division.Throughout her tenure, Melanie has held several key positions, including Exposition & Meetings Assistant, Meetings Manager, and Exposition & Futures Sites Manager, demonstrating her diverse expertise and unwavering dedication to excellence. In her current role, she leads the strategic planning, creation, and seamless execution of conferences and events, all while fostering genuine connections and engagement within the industry.A key part of Melanie’s work centers around exhibitors. She partners with them from the moment they reserve exhibit space, guiding them through all phases of the experience—from pre-show logistics and on-site coordination to a successful move-out. Her goal is to ensure every exhibitor feels supported, valued, and set up for success.Melanie\'s additional responsibilities include coordinating contracts with hotels, convention centers, convention and visitors bureaus, and local entities to secure optimal venues for meeting rooms, social functions, and other event activities.Melanie also serves as the staff liaison to the Exhibits Committee, working closely with committee members to ensure a successful and innovative exhibit experience year after year.
