WORK HISTORY
Head of Climate Science and Impacts Team @Climate Analytics
Berlin, DE
I lead a diverse team of researchers advancing interdisciplinary science to uphold the 1.5°C limit of the Paris Agreement. Our team’s mission is to integrate cutting-edge expertise, from climate physics to socio-economic modelling, to generate critical knowledge that informs evidence-based decisions and drives just, sustainable climate action.I provide strategic direction to the team, guiding our work across key scientific areas including downscaled risk assessment, adaptation strategies, and loss & damage, with a particular focus on Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Least Developed Countries (LDCs). We contribute to international processes like the IPCC and support national climate action through NDC-aligned science, and translate complex data into accessible tools that empower stakeholders to act.Our work strengthens climate justice, increases accountability and ensures that climate action stakeholders can make decisions rooted in the best available science.
