ABOUT MEL CARLOCK STONE
24 years of various experience with the US Air Force across multiple career series and active military/civilian grades. The journey kicked off as an Enlisted Communications specialist, who ultimately wanted to understand what the military missions were really about and how it all comes together to execute as one warfighting organization.I have had the opportunity to assist or manage various organizational programs that specialize in family and education, spouse support and career placement assistance, Special Operations, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle platforms, and Human Performance scientific research and studies. Most currently, I have found my way back to the Digital Enterprise IT world of scientific, technical, and technological intelligence. Seeing the diverse missions through multiple views has allowed me to really think of what our Air Force users and missions require from an IT standpoint in order to be our most successful.Diving back into this world at the start of true digital disruption and am loving every moment! I love to share ideas, best practices, and lessons learned so feel free to connect!
