ABOUT MEL NICHOLSON

I am an extremely tenacious individual who always gives everything to achieve a goal. I am very work orientated and want to be the best I can possibly be. I work for an amazing company who really reward success which drives me to put even more in to every day to ensure I deliver what\'s needed. Sales through great customer service is my strong belief. My ambition for every day is to absolutely smash every target and every expectation that is put in front of me. I don\'t stop until I\'m the best. My store has been top in the company for many months on the measure of conversion and value and profitability 2013 I won \"my dream\" an incentive with EE (equivalent to store manager of the year) where I won and the title of a best dream winner. There was 8 winners in a massive company. However my proudest moment is being nominated for store of the year 2015 and have currently made the final 4 out of over 600 stores and am now waiting to see if we can get into the final two. My team are exceptional, leading them to the possibility of this accolade is very exciting. I moved into a CGM role (regional sales manager) for South Coast, influencing 22 stores to deliver across a number of KPIs and value targets, this was a secondment for 8 months. Today I am back running an amazing store in Taunton. Driving every KPI to success through great customer service. We are very much in the heart of our community. Recently myself and a few colleagues attended our local primary school where we completed a workshop through assembly on internet safety to teach younger children the powers of technology whilst staying safe and what EE offered to support with this. Our community is very important to me and EE to really make a difference through the technology we have today. June 2025 soon became my new proudest moment in my career. My store Taunton became the EE national store of the year. An accolade so important with so many amazing stores out there. This was won through our work in the community, ability to drive success through change in commission schemes and performance from a fantastic investment in my store with a huge refit to become an experience local store where we bring a real life live experience for our customers. I also won Store leader of the South West.
