Groh is a play-focused design studio creating everyday magic for kids and the grown-ups who love them.
Female-founded by two educators with 20+ years in the classroom, Groh was built on a simple observation: parents are stuck choosing between the cluttered plastic their kids want and the overpriced minimalism their interior designers want. There's a third option, and it's the one we design for.
Every choice we make is rooted in child development. Shelf heights, material selections, layouts, products: all of it is grounded in how children build confidence, practice self-regulation, and direct their own discovery. The point isn't more stuff; it's an environment that invites kids to take risks, use their imaginations, and figure things out on their own. Less passive consumption, more active learning.
Groh Studio designs playrooms, nurseries, bedrooms, and shared family spaces for residential and commercial clients, with bespoke and fast-turnaround service tiers. Our work includes projects built around children with sensory processing differences and other developmental needs.
Groh Shop curates the pieces that bring developmental play into any home, with concierge service for families who want expert eyes on their space.
