I have over 14 years of experience in both public and private accounting, working most recently as an FP & A manager at the Economist. Most of my career has been at the Economist for 11 years, starting out as a business accountant and then transitioning to more financial analysis roles. My most recent duties have been in business partnering, forecasting, finance modeling, presentations, and variance explanations. At the heart of my most recent role has been shaping financial strategies that drive our mission forward. My core competencies lie in distilling complex financial data into actionable insights, ensuring our team\'s decisions are data-driven. My contributions, aligning with The Economist\'s culture, have been pivotal in supporting our global events, content marketing and advertising initiatives, reflecting my commitment to excellence and strategic growth. Prior to the Economist, I started out my career at Ernst & Young as an auditor and have used that experience also as a means for understanding what is needed to ensure accurate financials.I\'ve business partnered with people all across the world, including London, Hong Kong and Gurgaon. I am skilled in cultivating close and collaborative relationships, regardless of proximity with coworkers, business leads, and executives.
