   I am a licensed, EMT-certified combat medic through the U.S. Army. My duties require that I evaluate, diagnose, and treat wounded soldiers. I administer emergency medical treatment to battlefield casualties and assist with outpatient and inpatient care and treatment. I record patients’ medical histories, take vital signs, and keep health records and clinical files up-to-date. I administer vaccines and prepare blood samples for laboratory analysis. I also prepare patients, operating rooms, and equipment for surgery. I have traveled throughout the continental United States for training missions and I am responsible for teaching medical education classes.
