About Meichen Liao
I am a neuroscientist and have strong passion to understand disease mechanisms. I have been trained for diverse skill sets such as molecular and biochemistry, cell culture systems including cell lines, primary cultures, iPSCs-derived neurons and astrocytes, single cells secretion profiling, single cell RNAseq, CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, functional assays. With the different aspects of experimental tools and studies I would like to understand the neurological disorders better and generate therapeutics to treat patients.
