I’m a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience designing and developing scalable, secure backend systems using Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, and AWS, along with hands-on full-stack experience using modern React Libraries for building clean, maintainable frontend applications.I have strong domain expertise in fintech, where I’ve integrated complex financial APIs such as Plaid, Dwolla, and Stripe to build reliable, compliance-driven financial platforms. My work includes architecting and maintaining microservices-based systems, optimizing data flows with Redis caching and Kafka-based event streaming, and ensuring high availability using AWS EC2, Load Balancers, and S3.Currently, I lead a backend team in an Agile environment, owning backend architecture, driving new change requests (CRs), and providing L3 production support for systems composed of five+ NestJS microservices. I focus on delivering clean, maintainable, and performance-oriented solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements. I also collaborate closely with frontend teams, enabling seamless integration between React-based UIs and backend APIs.Within the Plaid ecosystem, I’ve worked extensively with Assets, Liabilities, Balance, Auth, and Transactions products, delivering production-grade integrations that support secure bank connectivity, automated asset verification, and real-time transaction synchronization. Using Plaid’s APIs, I’ve helped build wealth management, bookkeeping, and financial insights platforms, leveraging webhook-driven pipelines, automated asset report generation, and reconciliation systems to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.Beyond traditional backend engineering, I’m actively building AI-enabled enterprise systems.
