ABOUT MEHUL PATEL
I am a General Practitioner, Health Informatician and Clinical Safety Officer. I work as part of Prova Health helping companies goto market via evidence generation and strategy. I completed my health informatics fellowship in the NHS and spent a number of years working as a health informatician alongside my clinical GP role, focusing on delivering primary care at scale. My informatics interest is focused around EHRs. I previously worked at a rapidly scaling digital health company creating and growing their clinical safety process from pre-product to selling into 50+ organisations. I worked closely with the product and engineering teams to effectively bridge this gap clinical and informatics expertise, whilst managing the platforms risk profile. I have roles as a Clinical Lead / Clinical Safety Officer with two health technology startups.I work as an aeromedical examiner. I enjoy working in Python and have an informatics interest in EHR data, data analytics and interoperability.
