ABOUT MEHRIA ALBERT
For the past eight years, I have served as producer, writer, director, and host of a weekly TV show, Jahane Zan (JZ). It airs on Mondays at 8:30 pm (PST) from California for an estimated Persian viewership of over 400 hundred thousand plus in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and Kabul and other parts of the world via satellite, Jado, Internet, Livestream App, Gwilz, and weekly programs are found on Youtube and Jahane Zan Facebook, under Jahane Zan, started December 2014. I have made a conscious decision for each show to be interesting, entertaining, engaging, and yet informative. Note: JZ was aired via TV for more than five years; however, after TV\'s relocation to Florida from Northern California, Jahane Zan was invited by the Ariana International TV, located in Southern California, through its satellite office in Fremont, California.What has allowed me to successfully implement my decision is my having an excellent command of Farsi, and being confident, professional, and honest. My viewers are women, men and families with teenagers. They know that I listen to their feedback and help them in every way possible. My organizational, management, and interpersonal skills bolstered anagement, and interpersonal skills bolstered by a Masters degree in “Management and Leadership,\" are critical to running this (volunteer) show. I am also a spokesperson for the Cultural Society of Afghan Women in the Bay Area.
