ABOUT MEHN TALA NORM
Norm currently works as a Refugee Services Case Manager, providing essential services towards self-sufficiency to newly resettled refugees in the United States. He studied International Studies, Economics, and Chinese Studies at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. In addition, he worked with a political advocacy group in the U.S, at an international solidarity organization in France, studied in Taiwan, and had several volunteering and teaching experiences in his home country, Myanmar. His main academic interests lie in the societies and politics of the formerly colonized Global South and its marginalization.
