Contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of Elsevier\'s Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform, serving as a key member of the Identity team. Building and evolving RESTful APIs and microservices in Java to manage organisations, users, and access control across Elsevier\'s product ecosystem. Integrating OpenSearch to enhance data querying capabilities, including implementing advanced filtering and search functionality for user and organisation endpoints. Configuring and managing Kong API Gateway with OpenID Connect and claim-based authorisation to enforce fine-grained access control policies. Provisioning and managing identity infrastructure using Terraform, including Keycloak role definitions and client configurations. Designing API specifications following OpenAPI standards and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions. Working across a modern cloud-native stack encompassing AWS, Maven, and automated testing frameworks to ensure reliable delivery of identity services at scale.Concurrently undertaking a Data Science and Machine Learning apprenticeship, applying statistical analysis and machine learning techniques including classification, model evaluation, and supervised learning methods. Developing end-to-end ML project documentation and collaborating cross-functionally to identify opportunities for applying data-driven solutions within the organisation.
