ABOUT MEHMET AKCIN

For more than 17 years, I have earned a reputation for success in multimillion-dollar program, project, and operations management for leading global corporations, including Jackson Health System, American Express, University of Miami, and IBM. During this time, I have leveraged high-performing teams, vendors, key resources, along with my technical expertise to drive unprecedented performance. My background as a master black belt trained engineer, and strong managements skills has resulted in successful delivery of innovative solutions, and consistent results. Leadership Acumen As the business process Improvement and business intelligence leader of Jackson Health System, I was credited with successfully managing the enterprise financial sustainability program and implementing cost accounting & business intelligence solutions. In my role as Director of Project Management, I led the team in implementing strategic projects in excess of $89 million in re-engineering benefits. My success includes earning the American Express Chairman Award for Highest Achiever in 2009 for planning and leading implementation of on-line dispute processing and global channel shift initiatives. I earned a reputation as a respected strategist who led deployment of lean initiatives across numerous Global Functions such as Global Disputes Network, Corporate Treasury and Global Risk Network. My achievements, subject matter expertise, and demonstrated success earned me the Best Integrated Healthcare Business Director 2017 - Florida award by Global Health & Pharma.
