I was responsible for delivering immediate pitch-side care and managing acute injuries for players during competitive fixtures. My role involved: • Providing emergency trauma management and first aid during matches in line with current FA and medical protocols. • Conducting pre-match musculoskeletal screenings, taping, and functional assessments to ensure player readiness. • Implementing individualized warm-up and cool-down routines to optimize performance and recovery. • Collaborating with coaching and medical staff to make real-time decisions on player safety and return-to-play protocols. • Documenting injury incidents and communicating updates to the wider medical team post-match. • Ensuring all medical equipment and emergency protocols were in place and compliant with league regulations.
