ABOUT MEHDI HOUJAMI

I\'m an automotive engineer with a passion for sustainable mobility and advancing electric and hybrid vehicle technologies. With over 3.5 years in the automotive industry and 3 years in R&D consulting, I thrive on innovation and ethical decision-making to create solutions that shape the future of mobility. In my different engineering roles at Renault, I led the validation of cutting-edge driving systems and contributed to pushing the boundaries of automotive technology. As an R&D Consultant at LEYTON, I worked with companies in automotive, aviation, and energy, helping them navigate R&D projects and secure funding through tax relief strategies. Alongside my professional journey, I’m dedicated to contributing to global challenges. I’ve been involved in initiatives like the Oxford-Cambridge Fellowship Program, where I explored AI’s intersection with entrepreneurship. I also represented Morocco at the Global Peace Summit, collaborating with international youth leaders on peacebuilding. I’ve also been selected as a Pathfinder for the UN Climate Change Program, focusing on sustainable development and climate action under the Paris Agreement. Additionally, my volunteer experience includes leading fundraising events to support communities in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, helping students with both mental and physical well-being. Through the Leading with Character program, I have deepened my commitment to character-driven leadership, learning how to integrate integrity, empathy, and resilience into my professional life.
