ABOUT MEHDI SAID
I focus on the development, procurement, acquisition, construction, and financing of energy and infrastructure projects in France and abroad. I advise sponsors, lenders, and private-public sector entities on energy and infrastructure transactions, including wind (onshore and offshore), solar (ground-mounted, roof-mounted, and floating), hydrogen, battery storage, and hydropower, as well as on power distribution and transmission infrastructures. My practice also includes mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate law matters. Prior to joining Jones Day, I gained experience working in the legal department of a renewable energy global player and in the Paris office of an international law firm. I also taught corporate law at the University of Poitiers for several years. I graduated from the University of Poitiers with a Diploma in corporate counsel (DJCE), and a Master II in Business Law, and from the University of Montpellier with a Certificate of specialization in Corporate Law. I was admitted to the Bar in 2019. A native French speaker, I am fluent in English.
