Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, including Right to Work, immigration, disclosure, BPSS, and Ofsted requirements.Lead visa application processes, including issuing Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS), managing Employer Checking Service (ECS) checks, and maintaining records on the UKVI Sponsor Management System.Monitor visa expiries, proactively manage renewals, and escalate potential compliance risks.Maintain the Single Central Record (SCR) in line with Ofsted safeguarding standards, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.Provide guidance and training to managers and HR colleagues on compliance requirements and legislative changes.Conduct audits of HR processes and records to identify compliance gaps, implementing corrective measures.Manage disclosure checks, including renewals, and carry out risk assessments for incomplete pre-employment vetting.Advise managers, employees, and prospective candidates on visa sponsorship and immigration matters.Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to continuously improve compliance processes and strengthen safeguarding practices.Build strong stakeholder relationships while ensuring efficient, accurate, and legally compliant HR operations.
