WeAreLabeless is an Eco conscious Design hub working on the Sustainable DevelopmentGoals 2030. Primarily with SDG 5, Gender Equality & SDG 12, Responsible Consumption & Production. We work closely with the craftsmen from all across the country with a women centric team in Kashmir consisting of household of seven sisters in the small village of Budgam, who works on our embroideries and a team down south in Tamil Nadu working on our footwear in the universal township of Auroville.The brand focuses on the policy of zero waste production, where all the waste that is generatedwhile production, smaller bits of fabrics are utilised to make accessories like earrings, key-chains, ties, belts and patched pieces of clothing. Scraps that are too small to be used, go into the earrings.Therefore, nothing is really wasted.WeAreLabeless, stands for Educate, Collaborate and Create, where in we focus on educating people regarding how to utilise their old/ worn out clothes, bits and pieces of fabrics through workshops. We only produce one piece of each design and we only manufacture more when we receive an order. This ensures that we do not overproduce which keeps our carbon footprint as low as possible. The collections are trans-seasonal, eliminating the pressure to follow trends that the fashion industry imposes. We hold upcycling, repair and mending workshop very frequently. Upcycling workshops not only seek to encourage the reuse of the local excess materials, but also invites to embrace the development of the smaller businesses. By working towards being a conscious hub, we are collaborating with like-minded people with the same ethics and values. We get to collaborate with individuals and organisations in our short or long term projects. Through collective working we aim to reach as many areas and people as possible.#wearelabeless
