About Meg Maguire

Hi! I’m Meg, a strategic partnerships leader, ex–Division I collegiate rugby player, JMU superfan, and proud Swiftie.I connect higher ed, employers, and state partners to bridge learning and work at scale. As Director of Strategic Partnerships at Pearson, I do this by leveraging our internal and partner network to co‑design solutions that align programs to labor‑market demand, embed work‑based learning, and by issuing trusted, portable credentials that travel with learners. This includes credential portability through digital wallets and integrations across the LER ecosystem, paired with responsible AI to personalize learning and strengthen assessment - ethically and transparently.Earlier in my career, as a customer success leader, I led the full lifecycle of the customer journey, built an enterprise CS team, advised C‑suite stakeholders through complex product decisions, and delivered multi‑product solutions across state and local government and education. Those experiences shape how I partner today with presidents, provosts, workforce leaders, and government executives.I’m bilingual (Spanish/English) and love working across diverse regions and communities - including in my own backyard as a proud Charlottean. If you’re advancing skills‑based transformation, work‑based learning, or AI in learning and talent, let’s connect.Go Dukes!
