Works in partnership with the Division Director and Division Administrator of the Division of Hematology in the Department of Internal Medicine in the development and implementation of division short and long-range objectives• Defines, collects, analyzes and presents data in support of the assessment of division programs and initiatives• Evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles inconsistencies, and segments high-level information into details• Identifies opportunities in both clinical and operational areas in alignment with strategic goals• Helps to develop and facilitate a coordinated division-wide approach for turning identified opportunities into viable pursuits• Participates in the development of metrics and key performance indicators• Monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness• Recommends changes as required for improvement• Collaborates with hospital counterparts to optimize clinical effectiveness and efficiency by data sharing and development of key performance metrics• Develops and maintains relationships and lines of communication with key Medical Center departments in developing and implementing communication plans and strategies to align with divisional initiatives, goals and objectives• Works in close coordination with appropriate departments in the marketing of programs and services and managing social media presence • Ensures proper content and messaging executed online is relevant to divisional goals• Assists in analyzing marketing data to help shape future marketing strategies• Participates in the development and strategic planning of major symposiums, seminars, conferences and retreats with the purpose of advancing programs of the division and enhancing faculty experiences• Works with the leaders in identifying themes, goals and activities for events• Analyzes and reports on effectiveness of programs in reaching stated goals.
