ABOUT MEGHNA JARADI
| freelance writer, event experience architect & business operations specialist- Meghna is a dynamic and thoughtful leader with 10+ years of experience in event management, business operations and community engagement. Proven ability to develop high-performing teams, drive revenue growth and execute large-scale events. Expertise in stakeholder partnerships, strategic planning and operational efficiency. Passionate about building inclusive programs that connect people and generate true impact- Everybody eats. To me, food & drink are natural tools for cultivating community. Most recently, I championed purposed driven, beer-curious taproom operations at Metier Brewing Company\'s flagship taproom in the heart of Seattle\'s historic Central District. In 2022, I spent time in NYC writing cookbook descriptions at Kitchen Arts & Letters and bartending at Black-owned craft beer bar, Harlem Hops. I previously managed social media and food writing events at Book Larder, Seattle\'s community cookbook store. I also immersed myself in beer culture as Events & Marketing Manager for Peddler Brewing Company, a high-volume beer garden in the heart of the Ballard Brewery District. My love for fresh produce and eating local blossomed during early experiences selling PNW tree fruit at Seattle\'s many colorful Farmer\'s Markets. I have worked in diversified capacities in event management, marketing and communications. My love for the fast-paced, detail-oriented nature of this work came from robust, multifaceted roles at Seattle Foundation and Cascade Bicycle Club. While at Cascade, I revamped several existing events to increase event registration revenue and align event outcomes with organizational goals. At Seattle Foundation, I developed new event processes and procedures that encouraged cross-team collaboration and resulted in their largest-ever philanthropic fundraising event.
