ABOUT MEGHNA JUNEJA

I remember facing a dilemma about which stream or subjects I should choose; while I knew I wanted to study Humanities, the subjects I wanted to pick up were still a mystery. Then, I glanced over the newly introduced Mass Media and Communication course. I initially thought it would be something different, but soon knowing about how the media works, what happens behind the scenes, and how it influences us had me hooked. I went to study the same for my undergraduate as well. During these years, I discovered my passion for communication, leadership, management, research, and scripting. I have held the office of President (20••••22) and General Secretary (20••••21) of the Students’ Union. At the same time, I was also the Treasurer of #nofilter- The Media Club of IHE (20••••22).It was during my internship at Reportic that I got to put my theoretical learning into practice. I was responsible for researching and curating video ideas, scripting, recording and editing voice-overs, and assisting the video editing team. I have also had the pleasure to work with YourStory. At Brands of New India, YourStory I engaged with the BoNI Circle - a community of 900+ D2C founders. The various interactions and online and offline events have taught me a lot. This has helped me in identifying my passion for networking, strategizing and hosting online and offline events, and above all forming and nurturing connections. I now hope to gain more experience in the fields of Public Relations and Management, and Community Building.
