About Sagar Megharaj
An MBA graduate form IIM Ahmedabad, Sagar began his professional career as a product manager at successful startups like redBus and TaxiForSure, then went on to build his own startup, Khojio (an Online Discovery Platform for Artists). He later joined Zynga, where he worked on growing the mobile game FarmVille 2: Country Escape.Over the course of his career, Sagar has gathered a rich e-commerce and gaming experience. Being a product manager for customer support and mobile early on, his focus since then has always been on providing users with a delightful experience. He loves technology, and even with his startup, he strived to keep technology at the core of all innovations.Later at Zynga, Sagar levelled up his product experience by working on products at a global scale. In his 2.5 years there, he built the first successful content feature for the game launched by the India Studio, took on DAU as well as Revenue responsibilities, managed game cadence and mentored new PMs. Before he quit Zynga, he owned the Roadmap for Mid-level Progression for a year, and built one of the biggest permanent features of the game as part of that.Sagar loves photography and movie-making, and a short film he made during his MBA was screened at the Kala Ghoda Festival in Mumbai. He also likes to travel and he cooks occasionally. He is currently on a break, and is trying his hand at writing a novel based on some of his own life experiences.
