Provide cross-functional, inspirational, results-focused leadership to a high-performing executive team and oversight to a staff of 40+ working to achieve a vision of A Mississauga Where Everyone is Food Secure. Cast a strategic vision for, and drive operations to achieve mission. Full responsibility for factors critical to success - revenue and resource generation, program development, data and research, brand awareness and marketing influence, finance, expanding the agency network, and coaching team leaders. Partner with the Board of Directors to develop and report on progress towards strategic objectives. Embody and communicate the vision, mission, and values to all stakeholder segments, championing increased and deepened relationships critical to increasing food security. Key Achievements:*Through agency network expansion, referral partnerships, new program launches, and focused multi-lingual outreach, established and progressed towards a goal of providing food to an increased percentage of people in poverty, purposefully growing usage by 59% from to users annually.*Established and deepened partnerships with anti-poverty groups and government officials and increased public presence to establish the food bank as the most trusted, best resourced, and most innovative partner for increasing food security in Mississauga. Resulted in being awarded 2020 Non-Profit of the Year by the Mississauga Board of Trade.*Increased food (2.2 to 4.8M pounds, 117% growth) and funds raised (grew active donor base 9,500 to 17,100, revenues from $1.9M to $7.3M, 127% growth) by developing a strategy, plan, and staff structure to support goals.*Mobilized the launch of new programs Food Bank 2 Home - a delivery program for those experiencing food insecurity and have mobility challenges that grew from 48 to 905 households within 24 months, and ReclaimFRESH - a food rescue program partnered with 26 grocery stores recovering lbs of food per year.
