Responsible for continuing, implementing and growing a strong athletic program for GCHS. Working with staff and student-athletes to develop lasting and relevant programming. Providing equitability across all sports and activities. Developing and implementing an annual budget for the athletics program. Continuing education classes to improve knowledge and to remain relevant in the sports world. Communicate effectively with coaches, student-athletes and administration, both written and verbally. Assist in creating a pipeline of athletes from the lower school to the high school with shadow days and school visits. Developing important and lasting relationship with the student-athletes. Assisting our student population in learning more about available activities within our program and encouraging them to try new opportunities. Working with the administration and counseling office to assist student-athletes in college-bound opportunities.Establishing systems for uniform distribution, ordering and inventory. Working with vendors to make sure our student-athletes have the equipment they need to be successful. Establishing protocols for coaches reviews and feedback. Bridging gaps and eliminating barriers for student-athletes by providing proactive needs assessments with the help of a very conscientious administration.Responsible for the the athletic and activities throughout the Guadalupe Centers High School, after school and during school clubs to junior varsity and varsity sports. Bring new and innovative activities and sports to our campus. Uplift our students to try new activities and get involved at GCHS. Interact with the alumnae of the school by following up on their post-graduation plans by establishing continual communication to assure they are succeeding and prospering on all levels. Coordinate alumnae events to keep graduates engaged in the high school, through sporting events and classroom visits.
